1981 Honda CM 400 T rebuild & problem with refurbished fuel tank |

Saw your forum and need an assist. Am rebuilding a CM 400T and have two final problems; First is with the fuel tank. Cleaned the rust out, put in two coats of tank sealer (POR-15) and repainted it. Now, with fuel in the tank, the thing won´t allow fuel to exit into the petcock. Maybe the tank sealer covered up an inside tank filter/screen or maybe its a vacuum issue. Petcock works just fine. Second issue is final electrical problem with turn signals. Removed old ones and put on smaller ones. They will not blink and stay on (constant) when switch is thrown. I understand this is a grounding issue (with green wires) but cannot plug & play to remedy. Mike from Maryland |
