Just got an ยด81 CM400E. I cleaned the Carb. New battery, cleaned the contacts for starter and lights. Changed the oil and oil filter. Got the bike to start and ran for about 100 yards. Two problems. 1) Underneath the carb has a place for a hose. It did not have anything. What do I connect since the gas starts running down after a short while so I have to close the fuel tank petcock. 2) I can not change the gear to put it in neutral. and when I start riding it for few feet, I have to hold and release the clutch slowly. The oil filter was slightly longer than the old one. Could this be a problem? Take care, Robert RobertEMail2@yahoo.com |
