Adjust Idle?

I recently picked up a great looking 1982 Honda XL 185 S. It runs great and I am enjoying it immensly, but when it is cool I can´t get it to idle without killing. After it has been running for 10 15 mins it will idle just fine. I´ve tried the idle adjust screw but haven´t yet been able to find the sweet spot. Any ideas? Thanks.
