28 years ago to the date, I was going thru a divorce and just picked up my 81 FXWG from Caesars Motorcycle Shop in Salt Lake, UT for some repairs and riding it back to Phoenix, AZ that’s right in the middle of January with 2 feet plus of snow on the ground and ice on the road but had no choose in the matter. After two days of riding, stopping every 20 miles to warm up and going thru the southern hills using my feet as outriggers and tracker trailer passing me, I made it to North eastern AZ and Hiway 40 heading west. Had to stop for gas took the first exit I came to and was head to the gas station that I could see on the left, on a 4 lane road with a medium, well just before I got there a car from a side street was going to beat a van that was to my right across the road. He stopped right in front of me I locked both the front and back brakes, down shifted and still hit him right behind the front wheel and the front part of the door, bent my forks back to just before the frame, got the bike on top of me with gas pour out on me, I would say what I said than the guy try to lift the bike off of me from inside the car, dumb a$$, told him to climb out and help. But to skip some of the story I rode the bike back to Phoenix and took the bike to the shop to see how much it going to cost this guy to fix. Just started a new job with Bechtel Engineering, living at a friend’s hotel or who I thought was a friend, got the money from the insurance company and cashed the check and put it in the hotel safe, dumber. Well guess what happen then, bike got done when to get money for the bike from the safe and he said what money? Things started to happen fast then tried to pay the shop off a few dollars a month after about 10 months I had to leave Phoenix son was sick in the Bay area and the ex-wife well was be an ex-wife. Went job shopping after that and never got back to take care of the bike I lost it too.
After all this I wish I was Back in Vietnam.

If I haven’t bore you with this story, this is what I would like to know;
