i am curious, if the 850 midnight was only a 1 year bike why do you claim this is an 82, my title says 12 of 80 and the tree sticker says it is an 81, i have got rid of gold,brushed or polished all gold redid letters in silver and added an xs1100 front end, was able to keep 850 wheel(bonus),as well we have done custom mirage paint, dipped carbs cleaned black paint off, this custom 850 is a 1 shot start, and has less than 18,000 miles. i have pictures but would have to list four or five to get full effect of new paint
