Carburetor question

I have a carb set from my old 1982 Seca, but I got rid of the bike itself. My neighbor has an 1981 Seca that I am thinking about buying, and I was wondering if the carbs from the 82 would work on the 81. I know that the exhausts are interchangeable, and am hoping that the carbs are as well.
