Sounds interesting. Could you provide me with pictures? There was a rack at one point on my bike, there are hole on the rear handle (behind the seat) but I´m not sure what kind it was. Does your bike have only only bracket under the seat (follow "seat" on http://parts.yamaha-motor.com/ for 1982 XJ750RJ, part #5G2-21165-00-00)? I think that it is designed to be the main handle to put the bike on the main stand. But it seems like a legitimate anchor for saddle bags. I´d like to see a Seca with a touring setup and look at it carefully. I just put my bike away for the winter today, looking forward to spring already. cloune |
