touring options, what´s best? |

Bought a used 82 XJ750R, I´d like to use it as a touring bike. A tank bag has been my first purchase but more storage would be great. The mounting brackets on my bike seem limited. In addition to the handle behind the seat, there is only one handle on the left side under the seat. At first I thought that the right side one was missing but the Yamaha parts website only shows one! See for yourself on this great resource for Yamaha owners: parts.yamaha-motor.com It seems that this bike was also available as a touring model, see: http://www.motorcycleminnesota.com/060703/02/02.htm What´s the best alternative to the hard saddle bags? Where to saddle bags on the bike? Thanks in advance for ideas. |
