i rode my 550for the first time last weekend and was very impressed with the performance I think however that in my enthusiasm i probably overrevved it and dislodged a valve shim as there is an audible tapping from the top end . the bike had previously been standing for aprox three years I think now that possibly the valve springs have weakened over that period. what do you think?rob
