I just got a Yamaha XJ550 and it can get it to run well for a while (now that I put new spark plugs in and it actually starts)) But when I apply gas, especially after its been running a little) it wants to cut out right away. It also seems I cant bring the choke down or it will die as well. How long does it need full choke after starting? Do I have to clean my carbs? This is the first bike I have ever owned so some pointers would be great!!! Thanks!
