Hi- I am awaiting delivery of an 1982 550 Maxim - not run since 1998 but low mileage (18000) currently a non runner due to no spark despite CDI and coils replacement. Missing RH side Panel (how unusual!) and tank badges but very tidy otherwise. I have asked for original ECU and coils since it appears they are possibly not responsible for no spark. In Fife, Scotland - any other owners nearby please feel free to contact - don´t envisage a queue forming! So it´s back to basics - chasing power/no power. At 71 a bike was on the bucket list - do you have a better reason? Tank Slapper survivor, Richard. |
