The condition you are talking about is caused by the compression ratio that it has. It has 85/1 compression causing the back tire to lock up a bit if you are not careful. I don´t know why yamaha made this bike into a street legal bike. I would not ride it on the street for the life of me. I only use mine on the dirt where it has less of a tendancy to lock up. If you ride this on the street, be very carefull.
