Good luck finding a disk. I´m sure they are out there. I found an old manual that has greasy finger print markings on it!

My KZ 1000 LTD is stock and no mods. When I got her, the 4th owner with history, I´ve restored it to original; replacing the seat, side pods with correct markings, factory tires and grab rail for the seat.

No bags on mine and honestly? I don´t know where to begin to look for them. In fact, I would doubt in 1982 that they were even an option back then. I would try the factory first, only to see it they were available and if so, then certainly the aftermarket folks may have followed suit. Hardware may be difficult and then to mount so you may have to customize.

Handle bars? Hmmmmm. I´d hate to advise the ‘trail and error’ approach as that´s money and your labor time. But I would find what ´looks´ to be what you want, and then take measurements for all your cables; throttle, brake, clutch as you may have to make adjustments there relative to length. As far as mounting, that shouldn’t be an issue as long as the mounting of the bar is like for like – make sense?
