SO far, from what I´ve seen, the only difference seems to be smallish modifications and year. The mods are generally terribly terribly small, such as different ball bearings in a steering stem or a stanley brake light switch instead of the emgo one. I helped my father get an 82 Ltd about a year ago, and immediately researched the reason behind the Ltd logo. There wasn´t one really, the story was even more boring than the honda Ltd. Sigh. You can hit bikebandit.com and take a gander at the differences between these machines, but there isn´t much. An Ltd is an A1, A2, A3, B2, Z and so on in the engine, crank, gearbox, drive, fueltank, wheels, battery, electrical, and frame department. Sorry to dissapoint. Other than that, go for about $1,000 if it´s mint. If you kept up really good maintenance, took care of it, and have records, go for about $1,500.
