engine timing chain guid

We did a top end on this 1992 KZ440 Kawasaki. Question, after getting it back together we found what looks like a timing chain guide, is there a chain guide for the rear of the engine also? It is approx 8 inch long with two pin in it, looks like a guide. Any info please email. Glen
