82 KDX carb problems

i just bought a Kdx 175, 1982. Its runs bad in low and mid range. it snaps out of it when it hits high rpm. I cant stop the carb from drowning itself out, i,ve done everything! I mean EVERYTHING to the carb. I need a new one. I.ve also changed the air filter, and cleaned the exaust. i.ve been using mixed gas. it dosent have an oil pump for automatic mixture right?

Does the 82 KDX have an automatic oil pump?
any ideas on the carb? (all new jets, set, and floats sets)
good aftermarket parts? (racing, more power?)
