Honda racing ones stated that they didnt have cam wear.

Because they ´warm up´ their bikes for 1HR(!) easy driving, and only after that start racing.

So the 2-3 led temp ´10 minutes´ warmup isnt enough. I (try to) drive between 3000-4500 revs for as long as I think is reasonable (ahum), and only then do the occasional ´overtake´ of any traffic (ahum).

Semi-synthetic is the best of both world. Tests have shown (in Europe) that quality of oil doesnt depend on either brand or price (you put $$$ synthetic is brand new race bikes, i suppose) . Though you want to stay away of inknown cheapo´s (?), you want to check forum´s on peoples experience with oil brands.
