| If it helps, I just put a wind shield on my Sabre and it jumped the gas milage to the mid 40´s. What kind of RPM´s are you running when you ride? Do you ride fast off the start or slow and easy? When was the last time the oil was changed? When was the last time the Plug´s were changed? When was the last time the air filter´s were changed or cleaned? All these things can contribute to poor gas milage. Is it possible that your choke isn´t all the way off when your riding after it warms up? I know that sometimes I forget to set the choke back to off if I´ve taken off with it on and my milage dropped. I hope maybe some of this will help you to improve or find out what´s happening with your bike? |
