I have a 1982 Sabre which I bought in 1988. I have taken this bike on many 600 mile per day trips, and love everything about it. If you´re not afraid to spend a little (well a whole lot) of money, it will be well worth it when done. It will be the best bike for anything you want to do, from intrestate to country backroad. Mine went 3000 miles in 9 days. (my butt still hurts from that one). I´m getting to spend about 1500.00 on mine to rebuild the topend and I think it´s worth it.
