Seems like yu may just need a fuel level sensor. Its in the tank. I´m a former Sabre owner & miss that bike dearly. It should come out of the tank relatively easily, after you remove the tank from the bike. Be sure not to make any sparks while removing the sensor. Fumes are dangerous.. hope this helped.. good luck!
