$2K may be a tad steep; think $900-$1300; $1500 max. Check out my review. This is the ultimate in reliability at a very reasonable cost. Excellent bike for rider of average to above average road skills. Above average handling and braking. Maintenance is almost nil. Parts are still available and reasonable. I owned mine for 13+ years and put 50K+ miles on it. Two breakdowns; both due to the main fuse. It is flat metal. Fatigue, rather than electrical problems got it. Piece of cake to replace in less than 2 minutes and I carried a spare. Ridden hard, good Dunlops tires will last 7,500 miles max, but they aren´t expensive like the new radials. ONE CAUTION: The low speed circuits in the carbs are subject to gumming up after storage in as little as three weeks. In storage: #1 Shut off the petcock, drain the bowls (takes less than 1 minute with a long screwdriver), and run it till it dies. OR #2 Use a fuel stabilizer. A carb cleaning and sync can cost $75-$100.
