Both the Gl500 and the GL500i are Silverwings. The GL500 came with no fairing and only the small rear trunk. The GL500i came with the hondaline fairing, saddlebags and large rear trunk. It has dual disc brakes to compensate for the extra weight. Otherwise they´re the same.
