Oil Filter Screen Cleaning

The oil filter should be cleaned every 12 800 km(8000 mi.)

1.Drain the engine oil
2.Remove the kickstart(if bike has one)
3.Disconnect the clutch cable
4.remove bolts from right hand crank case cover and remove cover and gasket.
5.remove the phillips head screws securing the oil pump and remove the assembly.
6.remove the oil filter screen from the oil pump housing. clean the screen with a medium soft toothbrush and carefully ry with compressed air.
7. inspect the screen, replace it if there are any breaks or holes.

Put it all back together once filter is cleaned.
