No, not a dumb Q. I own 30 or 40 ,,, maybe 50 M/C´s, and its always a Q I wonder about. I typ use 23 in front & 28 back, but the numbers really do vary from bike to bike. So I don´t actually have an ans to your Q. I´d like to see if anyone has the old Owner´s Manual & what that says. I do know this: whatever u put in today, next week its down a pound, week after same thing. U really need to keep checking both tires.
