I just got my 1982 CM250 on Saturday, so I can´t say that we´ve had any real cold weather as of yet. The tempature has gotten down to the low 50´s the last few nights and I didn´t ride at all on Sunday. I just tried to crank the bike and had to run it with the choke on for a few minutes and then it seemed to even out. Mind you I didn´t ride it, just tried to crank it.

Don´t know it that will help or not.
