Hi, my bike is stuck in the French Alps, gears jammed. The CM 250 is a rare sight here, unlike in the USA, so it´s very difficult to find a gearbox.

Now a good albeit amateur mechanic in the South tells me he can fit the lower engine (bas moteur) of a CM 125 onto the 250.
Honda garage in the Alps has his doubts (different gear scaling maybe?) but not too sure, due to the scarcity of this model here.

All knowledgeable suggestions would be most appreciated, thanks
