This message is intended for Len. Len, I am Cooper. I have an ´82 FLT and I need to replace both tires and I had heard about the rear being a royal pain in the ass. Could you offer any insight about what to look for when taking the rear off? It currently has Avon 130/90B16 (maypops) on it. A buddy of mine has two slightly used tires off of a 2005 Road King. Would they fit inside my fenders? I am not sure of the size tires that he has, but they are stock Harley. Also is it possible to remove the rubber boot from around the chain and dicard it? Though that probably wouldn´t be a good idea. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
