After a ride my ´83 750 maxim doesn´t respond when I hit the start button. This occurs primarily when I have shut it down in gear. Raising the kick stand before attempting to start has no effect. Most times by shifting to neutral will allow the bike to start. I´ve checked all relays and they seem to be functioning properly. Would appreciate any ideas on where to look next.
