I´V owned an 84 gpz 750 for about 2 years now and it is a little rusty and the 2 into 1s on the header are all rusted out. i´v yet to install the replacement parts i have on my kitchen floor (and if i don´t do it soon, my wife is going to stuff it up my a..)any way my problem is typical, but i don´t know the solution. if the ingine is cold, i must throttle the bike to about 2500rps. choking it only makes it stall. after about 7 minutes (give or take with outside temp) it idles and runs the balls. if i shut it down and wait any longer than 2 or 3 hours its the same thing all over again. please help. could the lack of back presure of leaky header have anything to do with it? what about "cold idle"
