Replaced loom and right clip/block (the bit with the start button and engine kill switch, throttle cable etc). Bike had been dropped and three wires from clip were broken. Two were rejoined and one was bi-passed with a new wire which ran down around the connector for the clip and was hard wired into the main loom. Whats more they (the previous owner/s) cut the bi-passed wire on both sides of the connector so it was not as easy as replacing the right hand clip. I am glad that I did replace the loom because they also decided that instead of having CDI box connections over the coils that they should be moved back a bit. In short, there were heaps of breaks in my loom and any one of them could have been shorting out. Any way it runs well now and looks more tidy. Happy riding.
