To get the ignition switch out you have to pull your fairing. That´s a lot easier than it sounds. Once you pull it off, take off the cover for the black connector case that is below the gauges, and is where the pig tail for the ignition switch ends. Then a 10mm socket from behind and on each side of the switch will drop it out from behind.
