Right cylinder quits firing after 20 minutes or 5 to 10 miles

Last week I was riding my 83 GL650 to work. Just before I got to work the right cylinder cut out. After work it started fine and ran great until just before I got home. Each day it got worse until it only made it half way. I was ablt ot verify that the plugs were good (replaced) and were not getting spard. I purchased a used set of ignition coils and installed on for the right cylinder. It ran for around 8 miles and quit firing again. Today I pulled the ignition moduled and switched them. I did this after it was warm and tried to see if one of these were bad. Each one would run the bike on the left cylinder only. Also, while it was not firing on the right side I put the old ignition coil in, since it was cool and had not been running, to see if I had gotten another bad one. The right side still did not fire, even with either of the ignition coils or with the ignition modules switched. There has to be something else heating up! HELP!
