I just got my first bike in over 30 years and it is an ´83cx 650 c. It has 11K miles and everything works great except starting. Not knowing a thing about motorcycles, it sounds like a bad bendix, starter spins up but does not engage for several attempts, when cold, better when warmed up. I put a new battery in and the charging system puts out 14 + .I pulled the starter and looked at teeth, looks good, none broken on starter or reduction gear. Anyone have any ideas wat it could need? Thanks
