The Chrome bar that goes up/around the back of the seat (holds the glovebox), should be 2 allen bolts on each side of the base. Take the *front* allen bolt out on each side. I´m seasoned and still fought with mine trying to get it back together (very tight fit)HINT:loosen the back 2 before trying to fit the seat back down.
