Just bought a 1985 XL P/D in reasonable condition, was running, now will not start. Good spark, new battery, plenty of fuel (possibly too much - is that a pump valve on the carb?), valve clearances seem ok. Any ideas? Does anyone have info on ignition timing marks on flywheel?
