Hello,
I inherited my ex´s scoot. To big for me, so I am trying to sell it and take the money and trade in my 79 ironhead for a new 1200.
The one I am trying to sell is an 83 shovel on a custom Kraft tech frame. My ex said the engine was a sturgis model. I think he is wrong. I am no mechanic but from what I can tell it is probably a FLH the thing is though it has six speeds. It fast very fast, the guy looking at it says it is not worth more than 2500 dollars. I am trying to figure out kind of engine it is so I can get an idea of how much it is worth. My ex was a lousy mechanic I am pretty sure he did not upgrade it to a six speed are there any FLH´s that came out of the factory with a six speed option?
