Not in 1983. I believe they were only 4speeds there was no option. Regaurdless, if the bike fires up and is road worthy its got to be worth atleast $3,000.00 a good way to price your specific bike would be to go on www.craigslist.com and see what else is for sale in your area for a shovelhead FLH model, look at the pictures & read the adds and look at what they are asking. It wont give you an exact number but its.a.good start! I baught mine as a basket case and spent the winter at my kitchen table putting it together, after that my wife let me build a garage! Lol
