My wife´s cousin purhased a brand new silver on metalic blue 1983 FXRS. I went to his house to view his new baby. We went down to the garage and that when he ignited breathe in to the motor. She shook in the light of the 60 watt light bulb above and that´s when I first saw the love of my life. In 1989, with only 3800 miles on her, Cuz-n-law gave her up to me for six grand and from that day on she´s been in the family. The beast has had some typical bad days of a shovelhead but has never left me stranded nor had to be trailored home. Jessie´s who and Billy whatever, not even a Happy Yaffey could take the place of this iron maden. I´ve road the rest but will always keep the best.... My first love, that ole FXRS. |
