I just bought a 1983 XLH, am looking for some useful specs on it as well as an ´83 HD Service manual... tall order? My last bike was a 2013 Road King (bought new, put 61,000 km on it), before that a 2011 Sporty (bought new, put 13,000 km on that)and before that was a ´74 sportster (bought used in the US and I don´t know what the miles were as it had no speedo). This one shows 10,168 km on the odometer (broken, need a fix), but the tachometer works. If I could get a consensus on what the speed is in relation to the rpm in respective gears that would be a help in between now and when the speedo gets fixed (somewhere between now and when hell freezes over). Thanks, LT.
