I just bought an 83 R80ST from my brother. It´s my first bike but it seems tame looking enough to start out on. I´ve been doing a lot of searching around the web for impressions and information about the bike but find little. I understand it´s a pretty rare bike - only about 3000 shipped to the US? Wonder how many´s left running.

The bikes starting its new life out in the shop getting some needed repairs (forks, brakes, tune-up, speedo replacement, etc.) Even though it´s still January we´ve had a couple of 60 degree days - missed opportunities.

I´d be interested in hearing from others that are riding the R80ST.
