I just found your question and looked up the answer in my manual. The original AMF manual says to use Harley Davidson grade 75 in warm weather or 58 in cold weather. they also say to check the level and fill through the filler plug hole. The level should be up to the bottom of the hole. the transmission should hold about 1.3 pints of oil. I hope this info helps.
