i have an 1984 xt 600, had it for a year now . i bought it with a knackered engine and have since rebuilt it with a gas flowed head bigger piston, new rod and bearings. it is fitted with a pair of ram filters and i have nearly run it in. it is running too rich it would seem because of a leaky float valve and i need to replace the carb float bowl gasketĀ“ can someone point me in the direction of parts apart from the obvious, pay yamaha lots of money. i am also interested in any further tech mods or sound advice, ie another carb set up. im in the uk and i have an in depth engineering background. |
