I´m doing a top end eval. It´s my first time and I have the help of a good mechanic and some outside consultations second hand. I checked the end clearance on the rings. The spec is .030-.045 mm. Mine measure .0668 thereabouts. So I´m planning to replace the rings. My concern is the piston and cylinder bore. The bore is less then spec. It has little wear. The piston is similarly looking good, but below spec diameter. If I get new rings, what are the chances that they will be too big. Then I´ll have to bore out the cylinders and get new pistons. I´m already past my original budget by a bunch.I´d appreciate any experienced insight - Thanks - Jerry
