I´m looking to get back into the bike scene after almost fifteen years of non-riding. I am considering two totally diiferent bikes the H-D night rod and the BMW k1200r. I like both bikes for their relatively neutral riding posiiton The technology, performance and handling of the k1200r appeals to me while the styling, image and new liquid cooled engine of the night rod appeal to me. I am uncertain of the reliability and handling of the night-rod. A seocndary consideration is depreciation and resale value. Iw aswondering if anyone had any objective advice for me given the vastly different characterisitcs of the two bikes. In the past I have ridden a Honda Ascot vt 500 and a GPZ 750
