I´m approaching 29,000 miles with my 02 V-Rod without a single engine problem. To date (7/1/06) engine performance and reliability has been outstanding. From initial break-in, I´ve utilized synthetic oils. No oil usage whatsoever from oil change to oil change. I´m curious as to the total number of miles and reliability experience of other comparable high-mileage examples of the V-Rod of other owners? I´ve an engineer friend who insists the design of this engine should provide six digit mileage reliability numbers comparable to automobiles.
