81 Kawasaki Z 550 LTD discussion forum:

I am brand new to working on anything mechanical and it just so turns out that an 81 550 is what i have. Through alot of other posts i have learned everything except where the vacuum looking hoses of the bottom of the carbs hook up to??? And there appears to be some kind of oil holding tank near the air filter and intake, there is a small place for a hose to be but no hose, where is this supposed to be connected, it doesnt seem like an air connection, definitely oil. please help
