About to give up!

Got a 81 DR500 a year ago.. Carb was plugged, cleaned and got to where it would start on 3rd kick every time!
Went away for 3 months, carb plugged ago.. Cleaned again( lo speed jet) now I can´t get it to start.. No matter how many times I kick it!
Gets good spark van´t seem to get enough gas to start !
Any thoughts?
