Hi All, I´ve been customising a Canadian import GN400 which has a K&N filter, standard downpipe fitted with a BSA B33 silencer. Sounds wonderful!! However the old girl runs out of steam at about 65/70mph and the plug is white. Easing out the choke at this speed makes a wee improvment. I´ve changed main jet from standard 132.5 to a 160 - do I nned to go bigger? Just wondering if something like a dynojet kit might help (if still available of course). A mate said he´d heard that when these carbs were fitted with a K&N there wasn´t enough vacuum to raise the slide - any thoughts? I may go the route of a DR400 slide carb if I can find one, could be easier to tune. Cheers Loops |
