Hi, new gs 550e rider joining you. I recently had a DID drive chain with front and rear sprockets fitted. Since this work, there was a clicking as chain leaves its front sprocket. Chain and sprockets are correct ones, chain tension is 27mm and is in line. Mechanic said he doesn´t know why it is clicking. I had pre ordered a Cush drive front sprocket just in case it couldn´t be resolved, he fitted it and noise now gone. I can only assume that the new sprockets and chain are not exactly the same as original units when the bikes left the factory in 1981. Or can you offer an explaination to the clicking noise?
