Suzuki fours, particularly the vintage GS series, are known for being overbuilt. This is a good thing if you plan to run the bike into high miles. Some folks claim they´ll last over 100K. I don´t know if I´d trust that, but the truth is, they *are* durable.

UNFORTUNATELY, they *can* develop trouble if not properly maintained, or if abused.
